Ms. Bornscheuer graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Marketing degree. Thereafter, she received her law degree from Duquesne University in 1995. She is admitted to practice before all Arizona Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the United States District Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Bornscheuer’s practice is focused on construction defect litigation, insurance defense, and subrogation. Ms. Bornscheuer has practiced in diverse areas of civil litigation including commercial litigation, personal injury and school law. A substantial portion of her practice has been devoted to complex construction-related litigation, including the representation of design professionals, contractors, subcontractors and homeowners. Ms. Bornscheuer also has extensive experience defending and advising public entities regarding employment/personnel issues, various types of civil rights issues, and business-related tort and contract claims. Her appellate experience includes a variety of state and federal appeals, administrative reviews and special actions.
